LiftPort Group is the Elevator to Space companies. Active between 2003-2007 it built 18 climber robots and 14 high-altitude balloon tests. We climbed as high as 1 mile, and on a different test, we endured 60 days. We made (low quality, low quantity) Carbon Nanotubes.

In 2007, with the economic crisis that hit the US real estate market, LiftPort went into mothballs for a while. During the Summer of 2010, it began the process of rebuilding. It's renaissance project is the development of a Lunar Space Elevator.

Michael Laine is the President and Chief Strategic Officer.
