Dan Kolenz is currently an undergraduate student in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Purdue University. His areas of concentration are in design and propulsion. In Spring 2009, Dan joined Purdue SEDS, and a year later, in Spring 2010, he was elected as President of the organization. He was then re-elected in December of 2010. He will hold the presidents position for his last semester as an undergraduate student at Purdue University (Spring 2011) and then pass the torch to his successor.
Dan has been involved with the Purdue Hybrid Rocket, Purdue Ballistic Rocketeers (NASA USLI Team), the NASA Reduced Gravity Student Flight Opportunities Program (RGSFOP), Purdue Space Day, and Purdue SEDS Spring Space Forum.
Currently, Dan is most likely in the computer lab on the 2nd floor of the Armstrong Hall of Engineering at Purdue University. He also likes playing Halo.
He also has been having problems getting NX 6 to work on his Mac. But apparently Joe Kline just got a newer version of NX which might work better...
